How long does the rubber smell last?
The Acumat® is made from natal rubber and EVA foam which has a noticeable odour upon opening, it is best to air it outside for a day to let the smell reduce.

How long does it last?
That depends largely on the volume of training and usage the Acumat® receives, and the surface it is used upon. The foam and rubber naturally softens with time and usage, and will last longer when used barefoot. If you intend on using shoes on the Acumat® use the flat surface upwards to prevent abrasion of the contours. The average lifespan with daily barefoot use on a non-abrasive surface is 2-years.
What is the warranty?
The Acumat® is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing faults and damage - if there is any damage to your Acumat® upon opening, that doesn't meet your expectations, please email a description of the damage with a photo and we will replace it free of charge.
Why is it heavier than I expected?
To create enough density for acupressure to be applied to your body there is natural rubber in every Acumat®, which increases the weight and durability.
